I initially thought of one carat diamond stud earrings in a tulip setting, but then thought no, that would be silly, because I don't wear earrings anymore and the holes in my ears have grown over.

Clearly that's why I posted here, just needed a little bit of encouragement! I didn't do anything to celebrate passing my PhD, and no graduation ceremony because of COVID, so I'll justify it that way.

I have tried a couple of cheaper options from Etsy @blisstwins but they've been thin silver and twisted out of shape quite quickly. Let's hope these don't do that.

Now - everyone else needs to splash out on theirs!

They're lovely. And as you say would go with everything. So I think they're gonna be a bargain if you calculate cost per wear! Like 2p per day or something? That's got to be worth it! :)
