White Stuff and Mistral? My mum's birthday is coming up and she's asked me to find her clothes similar to these styles. She doesn't like Fat Face and I can't think of anywhere else along these lines! Any recommendations?

Germolenequeen re the quality of Dunnes Sores vs M&S I think M&S has lowered their standards and Dunnes has definitely raised their game.

FuzzyPuffling · 18/06/2021 08:16

Mudd & Water.

MiaMc · 18/06/2021 08:19

Are the actual Dunnes Stores only in Ireland now?

CrystalMaisie · 18/06/2021 08:42

Popsy

LadyEloise · 18/06/2021 08:43

@MiaMc I'm sorry I don't know.
Afaik they deliver to UK.
I love their Savida range - cheap, young and up to the minute.
The Edit has a Cos vibe.
Paul Costelloe is Paul Costelloe - classic - if that's your thing.
Gallery cheap but on trend mostly.

John Lewis own brands worth a look?

MerryChristmasToYou · 18/06/2021 08:53

Masai, Sahara, Two Danes, Toast, Ulla Popken, Mistral, Nomads.
I'd still look at Seasalt.
Other places to try might be M&S and John Lewis.

MerryChristmasToYou · 18/06/2021 08:53

Uniqlo and Muji might be worth a try.

Finisterre and Rapanui are definitely worth a look- rapanui even have a ''plain" section Smile

I don't know which Dunnes you are visiting but ours is full of garish stuff I wouldn't wear in a million years 😅

Funnily enough I have recently become a big fan of Seasalt. Either their clothes are less frumpy looking, or I am becoming more frumpy Grin

FayCarew · 18/06/2021 09:45

@RampantIvy, some of their things are nice, and they do a wide range of sizes.

Nobody mentioned Boden and Jigsaw.

LadyEloise · 18/06/2021 09:51

@Germolenequeen The Pavillions Swords, Liffey Valley and Cornelscourt.
