Closed toe sandals

Does anyone have any or seen any nice ones? I hate my feet and don’t wish to display them. A couple of years ago I got a nice pair of sandals from Office which have a closed toe but still have openings so foot can breathe. I loved them so much but they look worn now & looking on their website I can’t see any more closed options. Had a look online but haven’t found any nice ones.

Like this - amazon.co.uk/dp/B091GMTNVQ/ref=?th=1&psc=1]] very comfy too.

Watching as it's like the holy grail finding nice closed toe sandals! I've never wanted to wear open toe sandals in summer and genuinely despair at the limited choice of closed toe options Sad

Fitflop Cova are nice but I didn't find them very comfortable. I've also got a pair of fisherman sandals from ASOS (they have quite a few closed toe styles) but again, not particularly comfortable for walking longer distances.

I mostly just wear Tom's all summer which are good but I do get hot feet!

@toffeebutterpopcorn

Like this - smile.]] very comfy too.
Link doesn’t work. I too would love some closed toe sandals.

I second the palmarias -
I think the very small gap at the front stops your feet getting sweaty!

Lookdeepintotheparka · 16/06/2021 10:30

Those palmarias are really nice! Can I ask if they are comfy for lots of walking and true to size? I've had some similar (cheaper version) in the past and they slipped off the back of my feet all the time.

Thanks Smile

Comfy and I would say slightly bigger. I wear a 7 and am usually 7.5 as they do stretch

Littlemiss74 · 16/06/2021 10:32

@PawsQueen they are very pretty. Are they comfortable? I’ve tried that style before and they were a bit around my hideously shaped foot at the top by the big toe. There are some lovely styles on there. I don’t find completely flat shoes comfortable so need a little bit on the sole.

Love my palmarias too! I find them very comfy, can work for hours once they are broken in. Seconds are very good bargains if you can find your size in a good style as well.

I bought these from Primark for £6 a couple of weeks ago. I was only following my teenage daughter around the shop holding her basket when I spotted them, so comfy! Completely hide my toes but allow air flow.

@FAQs oh wow they look fab, will have to see if I can get to a Primark.

Thanks @PawsQueen I've seen a couple of styles on there - going to order Grin

WankmasterBastardDeLaShithead · 16/06/2021 11:17

I have these in red: www.keenfootwear.com/en-gb/p/W-CLEARWATER-CNX.html

Very comfy and airy.

Geamhradh · 16/06/2021 11:21

Palmairas and most Menorcans are totally flat so if you need any kind of arch support you need to look for their wedges. Ria imo are the best Menorcans and do some lovely wedges.
Otherwise, as pp said, Covas are pretty good.

I'm often on crutches or in a wheelchair and am after sandals which have closed toes and covered heel (after various scrapes). I wondered about pikolinos though they are pricey.

idontlikealdi · 16/06/2021 13:24

Palmairas do a wedge version.

adrianmolesmole · 16/06/2021 18:55

I bought these last year, they literally go with everything and are so comfy, plus I don't have to paint my nails Wink:

I got some black Fitflop covas from Amazon recently and love them. They were £53 there compared to £90 on the Fitflop site

SunscreenCentral · 16/06/2021 20:26

My sister bought me my second pair of palmeiras after my much-loved first pair gave up the ghost.
Same size. Didn't fit properly (strap falling down at the back - very annoying).
Maybe my feet have shrunk! 🤷🏼‍♀️
