Been battling with my hair for several years, it doesn’t grow and just snaps off, ruined by hair dye and recently being ill. It’s now in awful condition so I’m getting it cut short. I am 39, I want it to look feminine but as short as possible. I’m thinking short pixie?

Those who have short hair, can you get away with not wearing too much make up? I’m worried as I rarely wear make up, last time I had short hair someone called me “sir” in a shop 😬.
