Following on from @dogsandbabies lovely thread about statement rings - please can I ask to see your eternity rings? Or eternity ring designs that you particularly like?

Unusual or traditional, stacking with wedding set or not, I’m on the lookout for ideas - and also would just love to see your pretty jewellery :)

This is mine. Top to bottom, engagement ring, wedding ring and eternity ring. The eternity ring was made for me to match the setting on my engagement ring and used diamonds from a Victorian dress ring that I inherited from my maternal grandmother.

Five diamond eternity ring

Mine is similar to this (but smaller.). :) I also just said to DH that I thought I needed one. I am mad mad for bling though so he was not too surprised. (I recently told him I really need some 'an everyday pearl necklace' which he thought hysterically funny. ).

I am sadly not wearing my rings right now because I am scared that with all the handwashing the diamonds will disappear down a drain. It would break my heart. The story behind both my engagement ring and eternity ring is that we bought them from a local auction house. They both came from deceased estates and I like to feel that whoever had them first somehow know how much I love them. :)

Oh Bluelobelia mine was from a second hand shop. I couldn't walk past it and bought it for myself . I love it. The gold is so thin it will have to be rebuilt soon I think.

I bought myself stacking rings with rubies and peridots for my other hand- birth stones for the DCs and DH. First time in 12 years I took them off again because of all the handwashing. :(

My eternity ring is actually a wedding ring with little diamonds in as it sat better with my other rings.

I love that your ring is made from an inheritance @fingersandthumbs. It does seem like a few people just decide the time is right or just want one. I’ve done a bit of Googling apparently they mean endless or everlasting love.

This is a lovely idea! The reason I’m looking at engagement rings is that I’m about to have my first child (and DH and I have been together ten years). But august, when the child will be born, seems to have slightly rubbish birth stone options :(

I’m wondering about getting one to wear as a stand alone ring on the other hand - maybe something like this (Boodles design I think). Thoughts on whether it would still ‘count’ as an eternity ring?

That's very similar to my engagement ring. I love it, but it's not an engagement ring :) I usially end up wearing on it's own.

@bendmeoverbackwards I’m getting mine made by a local jeweller (I live in a capital city in Asia). The design is called Raindance - I’ve seen quite a lot of jewellers in Hatton Garden imitating it too. It is beautiful I think.

I’ve shown mine before, here it is.

My engagement ring is on the top they sit better this way, eternity ring is very similar to my engagement ring but with 5 stones, I rarely take them off. Eternity ring was 5th wedding anniversary, one diamond for each year

This is mine. Got the eternity ring for my 30th birthday

My eternity ring is full eternity alternating between round and baguette diamonds. I got it after the birth of our 2nd child to mark completing our family. My DH way of saying no more DC 😂

I had this one made at Hatton Garden for our wedding last year. It's a full eternity which I wear as a wedding band. I did initially look for a channel set one but when I tried it the look was too bulky for me. Excuse wrinkly sanitised hands 😆

From top engagement, wedding, eternity. All from Hatton Diamonds in Hatton Garden. The eternity ring is full eternity and all my rings are very delicate because my hands are tiny. They’re pretty standard in terms of style - not unusual at all but they’re perfect for me. I just wanted delicate with lots of sparkle and that’s exactly what I got!
