Minimiser bras

I have a dress for a wedding that fits but is very tight around my ample chest. It is very low cut and currently not decent for a wedding!
Would a minimiser bra help? I have never bought one before.

I wear minimiser bras and in my experience they are big supportive bras (as in a lot of fabric) and they slightly flatten my breasts so they appear a little smaller. I don’t think they would work with a low cut dress. Sorry not to offer a solution, hopefully someone else will have a suggestion.

Yes, having a look online that is the impression I am getting.

I think Triumph do the best one, I read it on a Redit feed a few weeks ago.

I wear minimiser bras under t shirts. They are very full, they redistribute your breast tissue towards the perimeter, so more towards your arms, and higher up your chest.
Why not order one online and try it with the dress?

I started a thread about a minimiser bra but didnt get any replies.

I am usually a 34D and ordered the Triumph one but it was too small in the cups so i returned it, maybe I should try a 34E - would that be the next cup size up?

34DD is next after 34D
Have you tried measuring using the boob or bust site to get an idea of size?

I've had a few minimiser bras (I'm a 36G 😭) and Triumph are the best. However, I'd never wear them with a low cut top or anything really clingy. They tend to flatten your boobs and push them to the side at so I look flatter side on (great!) but wider at the top from the front (not so great). They look a bit odd with a low cut top and I'd rather have something that pushes them up a bit.

Thanks all! I think I have to face facts and get a different dress!

No, I will try that thank you but used to wear a 38B until I was measured in an independant shop at 34D and bought a few Prima Donna bras but I think the elastic on the straps has stretched as there is no "lift" any more and no room to shorten the straps further.
