Could a hairdresser perhaps give me some advice? Brassy highlights lightened from v dark hair .

Hello,
My natural hair colour is very dark brown, but as greys have sneaked in, my hairdresser has been applying all over brown colour to cover greys.

I decided to go lighter to try and make the greys less obvious as they come in. Here is a pic of my hair colour now. I know the red tones are because of the lightening process and but feel it’s a bit brassy looking.
Is there anything I can use at home to help cool the red a bit? A colour shampoo or toner or similar?

Thank you!

Blue shampoo can neutralise orange tones

I don't think it's brassy at all, it's really nice. Perhaps you just need to get used to it. I always think colour needs to 'settle' a bit first.

Thank you both!

A hopeful bump for any other advice? Blue shampoo recommendations?
