Long shorts

Looking for some straight leg shorts that cover the knees. Ideally slim in the leg and grey/khaki/blue. So far I have seen wide legged ones which are not going to flatter big hips and bum, or Chino ones which end well above the knee. Am I asking too much?

Have you tried searching 'knee shorts' on Next? I have several denim pairs. What I would say though is I'm 5 foot 6, and I get them (and their linen dresses) in a 'tall' fitting as they have that extra couple of inches.

Yes, to cover knees you need pedal pushers/Capri pants?

City shorts/tailored shorts might be what you are after?

Capri length tends to end on mid calf, a bit of a wide calf in my case! Knee shorts in Tall length sound quite promising.

Tu at Sainsburys do a denim shirt that fits what you want

OP I'd wear a skirt - I'm not sure knee length shorts are that flattering. They make me think of golf ....

I've got Sainsbury's Tu Bermuda style denim shorts that end slightly below my knee. Quite fitted - jeans style.

@alphaechokiwi I have the turquoise coloured ones in the slightly softer fabric. Very pleased with them - Bermuda style shorts are like gold dust at the moment!
