Should I go back to the charity shop and get that £70 black Armani blazer if it's still there?

I can't decide. It's pure wool, excellent condition and fit me really well.
It's got shoulder pads I don't love but maybe I can remove.
I don't massively need it especially as smart office wear feels pretty irrelevant these days.
But I do love a good blazer.
I've already got a very floppy unstructured black silk blazer that annoys me a bit.
I've got to decide today as going home from holiday tomorrow.

Nice! It's in lovely condition too. Great buy!

Here she is - hard to get a decent shot in the light here
I know I'm a bit late, but that is a fab find, and looks great! I'd advise that you don't try to take the shoulder pads out. (If you're still considering doing that.) Only another month or so, you'll be wearing it, and pleased that you got it! Smile

A late update: I wore her in a zoom job interview yesterday and I felt the absolute business!

Lovely! I once found a pure wool Burberry peacoat for 10 in our local charity shop. It was very old and the metal buttons were very worn, but I lived in it for years and now my dd has it.

Sounds gorgeous. I want a classic peacoat too.

Gloverall is a classic brand for pea coats and duffle coats.

I love the blazer - complete classic. I’d wear it with jeans and play around with other more casual items to work out how else to wear it. Loads of blazer inspiration around at the moment.
