Hi ladies - I wonder if you can help.

What are the most comfortable trainers for an overweight menopausal shortarse- doesn't matter if they are ugly ( may be this post is in the wrong section). Currently I wear fitflop trainers which I like but I wonder if there is anything better out there.

I am a size 5, fairly broad feet, my arches are a bit flat and the top of my foot is quite high so Doc Martens do not fit very well.

I have wide, flat feet, am mid fifties, and overweight - Gosh I am a dream!!

Anyway, I recently got these leather Supergas and I love them.

I cannot wear anything designed for someone with a normal instep as it feels like I am walking on a tennis ball or something.
