Towel/ poncho for boy aged 8 but 145+ cm tall

Hi.

Not sure if this is the right place but looking for a towel/ poncho thing for my son who is 8 but very tall for his age.

Age 12/13 ones too small and in short supply- think Boden, Next etc. Are there any places that I've not come across selling this kind of thing. Like everyone we are holidaying in the UK and they come in really useful but just can't seem to find one anywhere

Verging on buying and adults version and having to have it shortened.

Try Decathlon. Their microfibre ones are great, and even the adult ones won't be silly long as they only come to the knee

Try Rapanui Clothing, though you may need to shorten length.

Robie robes. Been used at least every other day for over 8 years and still going strong (although a little faded). I got the junior size when they were around 4 years old (was a little too long then) Now aged 12, its around knee height on my 150cm child.

I'd suggest going with the small adult size.

This junior length poncho from Decathlon is longer than the normal children’s versions.

We just got adult ones for ours. Doesn't matter if they're slightly swamped!

I've just bought this for my boys. DS1 is 8 and tall. I got him the large, It comes to his knees.

Look on amazon they do children and teen sizes Dd about £15 I think but even an adult one would be fine.

We recently got one of these and I was really impressed with the quality and would recommend it. The fabric is pretty heavyweight though so it’s not something I’d take to the beach in summer.
