I washed it last on Tuesday morning, that’s ok isn’t it? Or a bit Stig of the Dump?

Depends how dirty your hair gets, would be absolutely fine for me. I think the colour sticks better when it's a bit dirty.

My hairdresser said colour may not absorb so well if greasy, maybe a hairdresser on here can confirm?
I would wash it to remove grease and build up of products.

My scalp would be horrible after 3 days. I know you’re not supposed to wash it just before, so I would do it tonight as soon as possible.

Think I will just bite the bullet and wash it...thanks all.

Don’t use conditioner.

I am a hair stylist/consultant (for my sins), here's my advice.
I can see you're having highlights so washing it tonight would be a good idea. It will help the colour lift.

Do you use any hair products? These really need to be removed (a clarifying shampoo would help here).
Your colourist will be able to advise you, so talk to them and ask their advice for future, appointments, they will love you for it.

Which brings me onto your stylist, we literally love being asked "does this style suit my face shape, bone structure ?" It gives us a chance to work some magic, nothing makes me happier than a client walking away feeling like a million dollars. Also ask advice on how to style it at home. A good stylist will enjoy showing you. And yes I have had my hair styled and gone home and restyled it, so I always try to speak to my clients and make sure they're happy.

You're not alone in asking this question, I literally get asked variations on this all the time.

Good luck and I'm sure you will be pleased with the results. Remember to thank the staff, it goes a long way as we all like being told we have done a good job. Xx
