Ive been to bravissimo and left with badly fitting bra's, am getting desperate.

I'm a 34gg and I tend to wear balconette style mostly. I stick with brands like Freya, Panache and Fantasy. I do also like the Fantasy Rebecca which is a smooth moulded cup bra.

StarlightLady · 10/06/2021 11:34

36F here. I agree with the Panache, Fantasie and Freya recommendations. In particular the Fantasie Rosemarie, Panache Tango and the Panache Envy. The latter 2 come in some lovely colours (no white or beige in my drawer) although the straps on the Tango are rather plain.

SpeckledyHen · 10/06/2021 14:17

34g fitted at Rigby and Peller .
‘ Copy ‘ of the £90 bra they fitted me with is Cleo Asher balconette from Bravissimo.

ssd · 10/06/2021 15:59

Most bra's go to a g cup but getting a hh is difficult.
I want a full cup with side support. I tried panache tango, envy and anna but they weren't comfortable.

I used to wear Panache tango when I was smaller cup size. I'm 34HH and wear Freya and recently got a couple of Flirtelle that are a great fit.

Try Brastop. I ordered 7 bras expecting none to fit and 6 of them did. I was so pleased.

ssd · 10/06/2021 16:03

The cleo asher comes in hh so I'll try that next time I go to bravissimo

ssd · 10/06/2021 16:04

Ive got a couple from bra stop and simply be but id rather try them on if i can.

Depends what you mean by side support?

I'm a 32J and have only be as a great experience at bravissimo.

For lift I prefer a balconette without a side sling. I find side slings just push boob fat under my arm and make me look wider.

myfuckingfreezer · 10/06/2021 16:05

Meant to say I prefer bravissimo own brand. I find panache run very small, and Freya/fantasie are good, but bravissimo a few pounds cheaper than either

ssd · 10/06/2021 16:06

Side support like a panel at the side of the bra to push you forward a bit, my boobs look too rounded without it

Toddlerteaplease · 10/06/2021 16:09

34gg I wear a Freya deco.

FionaCorkesWardrobebyKamizole · 10/06/2021 16:16

Elomi Cate bra, goes up to a K cup and has good side support.

NellietheNumpty · 10/06/2021 16:37

Prima Donna for me. Spendy but worth it.

ssd · 10/06/2021 16:40

Like the look of elomi kate

OP posts:
ssd · 10/06/2021 16:40

I just need to work out my size

OP posts:
ssd · 10/06/2021 16:41

I mean i know my size but it changes depending on the bra

Swifey40 · 10/06/2021 16:44

If I'm wearing a full cup which is not expensive I have the Next Phoebe, it is underwired, slightly padded and gives a really nice shape. It's super comfy too!

BonnyEm · 10/06/2021 16:48

I'm a 34hh too! I've found pour moi, the best, most comfiest and most supportive

I'm wearing this one today www.pourmoi.co.uk/products/viva-luxe-underwired-bra/?styleid=77246&tmsb=fgbr9y2&tmrl=2w8d4x6&tmsl=pdp-also-in-this-range-gj-20-03-2020&tmty=w&tmcv=134&tmcs=d3ejuqq

It's sooo comfortable!
I also have it in black but the black one isn't as comfy and feels slightly tighter although it's the same size 🤷‍♀️

ssd · 10/06/2021 17:05

Some great recommendations here

OP posts:
StarlightLady · 10/06/2021 18:45

@BonnyEm - You raise an interesting one here. In the past l have bought bras where the style/size is the same, the only difference is the colour, but the fit has not been the same.

As for Pour Moi sizing generally, l find it to be all over the place!

BrownTableMat · 10/06/2021 18:53

Have you tried a plunge style? I’m a similar size and it took me years to work out that balconette styles don’t suit me because my boobs are very close set whereas plunges (like the Freya Deco or Bravissimo Satine) work much better for me

BonnyEm · 10/06/2021 19:21

@StarlightLady I think it's to do with the dye that's used

BonnyEm · 10/06/2021 19:30

@BrownTableMat. Good point. It not only depends on your size for a good bra fit. Mine are very wide. Plunges aren't good for me. I fall out of them. I need full cups.

LadyDanburysCane · 10/06/2021 20:23

I’m a 32FF and particularly like this one www.fantasie.com/uk/en/lingerie/bras/side-support-bras/ana-uw-side-support-bra/p/fl6702blh/

They do it in your size OP and the side support makes sure that the boobs are out front not under your arms.
