Fashionable, comfortable and flattering sandals?

I need some black sandals for 'nights out' such as they are, to wear with dresses.

Unfortunately my legs aren't the nicest and I suffer from the infliction of 'cankles'.

I'm looking for trendy (eg clumpy) black sandals with a tiny bit of height (as that helps with making my legs look better - not too high as I live in London and need to be able to walk a fair amount) but no ankle straps with cut off my legs to my feet and make my legs look even lumpier.

Anyone seen anything?

Thanks Wine I think those are a bit too clumpy for me and my dumpy pins Smile

Any of these Doc Marten ones?

My super cool 20-something hairdresser (who has larger legs/ankles) wears this kind of style and looks fab. They’re comfy and not try-hard so perfect for London!
