My face in the mornings!

My face doesn't wake up in the mornings until long after I have got up.
I'm puffy with sticky eyes, the hot weather isn't helping. Neither is menopause
Other than jumping in a shower of cold water what can I do?

I bought a silk pillowcase as I consistently sleep on one size and have a wrinkle only on one side of nose!

I want to wake up like women do on films!

You can get these facial rollers that you keep in the freezer, something like this, which are pretty good at depuffing a morning face.

A photographer once told me that stars never have a photoshoot until at least midday in order to wait for morning puffy face to disappear. So even the women in the films wish they woke up looking the women in the films!

If you were really determined you could sleep sitting up, but that seems a bit drastic!

Serpenta, I'm seriously thinking about one of those rollers!

Stopping drinking alcohol really helped me with this. I used to think my face didn't 'emerge' until after 11 ish and then I would look better and better as the day went on. Now I wake up looking much fresher and younger. Was a real revelation to me.

I have an ice roller and I love it! Really helps to wake me up and reduces how puffy my face is.

I think my face settles down quickly in the morning.
I don't like silk pillowcases as they have a claggy feel when you've put night cream on.
I always splash my face with cold water and spend a bit of time outside in the morning, so maybe that helps?

I don't drink alcohol either, so maybe, as already mentioned, that factors in too.

Micro current devices are good. So Nuface or similar. Exercise like Pilates or yoga. Cold shower. Massage face.

I can’t quite give up wine but I definitely see it in my face now the morning after. I call it ‘puffy wine face’.

I don't drink but I am partial to an evening Diet Coke or Pepsi Max or two.

I don't use any moisturiser at night in hot weather but it's not made any difference.

Ice roller now in my Amazon basket!

I wonder if putting my jade roller in the fridge would work like the ice rollers?

I’m the same op until I’ve had a shower

I used to sleep on my back which helped (until I met DH and it turned out I'm a snorer). Could you do that?
