Comfortable but stylish sandals

For day trips with the pram I'm currently wearing a pair of ancient Nine West flat tan leather sandals that are soooo comfy with a padded sole - why do so many leather sandals have that awful hard sole? They have definitely seen better days though. I did consider tevas but don't think I can bring myself to wear them they are so fugly.

I've got a pair of sword fish leather sandals from office.
They are so comfy and have a padded sole.

Personally I love the look of clumpy sandals (Birkenstocks etc) with long skirts and dresses. So I would just embrace the comfy sandals. I find Clarks sandals generally have a nice padded sole as well (though they seem to be v expensive these days).

I do like Birkenstock Eva but was on the tube yesterday and liked that my sandals had an ankle strap, terrified of the slider style falling off my foot with pram and escalator.

Moshulu Ginger Ale or Wasabi sandals.

I've just got some havianas with a back on.They are v comfy.

I have some new look ones that are sooo comfy and 2 people I know have said they have the same ones and remarked how comfortable they are. They have a slightly padded shaped sole.

You can get Birkenstock’s that have ankle straps. I wear that kind as I hate slider type shoes.

Oh yes my Birkenstocks have ankle straps! I can't cope with shoes or sandals that can fall off.
There are loads of styles, with straps across the foot, or round the ankle.

I got some wide fit padded sole ones on New Look recently. Not real leather, but so comfortable. They only came in black and white which is a shame, I would really like a pair in tan too.

Hotter do some not too fuggy ones - 4 width fittings too in many styles.

I have these and can walk miles in them.
Not so pretty but not really enough to them for them to be ugly either IMO.

Get some Birkenstock Arizonas they look nice with pretty much everything and are really comfy
