LED mask or microcurrent?

PeachMelba78 · 08/06/2021 21:29

I am still on my quest to improve my skin and avoid fillers for as long as possible. I have been looking at both LED masks with red lights, or the micro current devices. But I really can’t afford both and I really don’t have time to do both. Plus I already use the Tria laser, which has really improved my skin tone and texture but not done much for my fine lines.

Any thoughts/reviews?

They do completely different things. Without knowing what concerns you are trying to address it's not really possible to comment.
Microcurrent devices cause muscle contractions, exercise your muscles and as a side effect that can improve the texture and look of your skin and reduce puffiness.
LED devices work on the appearance of your skin.

I’ve had all of them. My LED mask broke so I’m slightly biased but I feel I get more of a lift from micro current. I notice when I’ve missed a week.

With all these devices consistently is key. You need to devote the time to do them or you won’t see the results.

What micro current device do you use please?

Angbunnyboo · 12/06/2021 18:26

I’ve got both and they’re fab. Micro current firms up my jowls a lip to mouth lines, and my 11s are almost gone. Light mask great for perking up skin and the green light on mine is helping with pigmentation.

What is it you’re trying to achieve? Have to admit to still using Botox and fillers though!

What micro device do you use?

I want to smooth my mouth lines and my 1 at my forehead (I have this instead of an 11).
I have had microneedling, and use an at home laser - I have seen good results from both but I am really keen to reduce these lines

Sorry, been away.

I use the Nuface. I definitely notice when a don’t do it but it’s quite subtle. It doesn’t work really on wrinkles though. I think it’s gives a bit of a lift so I look slightly less jowly.

Laburnam · 13/06/2021 22:02

That’s a coincidence I have just ordered a nuface
