Where do you buy bras for teens with a larger cup size?

DD has outgrown her C cup bras and is now a D or DD cup. Where can I buy her nice bras from? (preferably still with thin straps she can wear under vest tops and spaghetti strap dresses)

Depends on back size tbh. Does she wear underwires?

StevieKnickerbockerglory · 08/06/2021 12:35

DD isn't an unusually large cup size tbh. I'd have thought wherever you buy her current bras would also do DDs?

Alloutofglove · 08/06/2021 21:24

Shops are getting better at stocking bigger sizes tbh. Even the supermarkets have DD+ nowadays.
My household gets our GGs mostly from here though www.brastop.com/collections/bra-sale-clearance

Dd loves Hollister for nice bras in bigger sizes.

sanityisamyth · 08/06/2021 21:27

Supermarkets go up to a G cup. Make sure that she is actually wearing the correct size using the boob or bust method.

Bookmarket · 09/06/2021 08:22

Thanks all. I've not had to buy her that many bras so far. We went from the M&S Angel range, then she had some bras from Next and Pink, and some Sainsburys ones. I think she's like bras that couldn't easily get mistaken for mine in the washing,

I'll have a look at Hollister.

You never said what back size. A lot of high street stores don't do back sizes under a 32

Bagelsandbrie · 09/06/2021 08:25

Next and Boux Avenue have pretty thin strapped bras.

dazzlingdeborahrose · 09/06/2021 19:45

I got my teens last ones from Victoria's Secret.

bookmarket · 10/06/2021 09:45

Back size currently 34. She is 15.

Is that what she measures under her bust without adding on extra inches? What dress size is she?

Branleuse · 10/06/2021 09:51

have you measured her band size? Is she around a womens dress size 14/16?

dementedpixie · 10/06/2021 09:52

My dd is a size 10 women's size and wears a 28 back bra (28F)

bookmarket · 10/06/2021 09:56

She's started wearing a size 12.

dementedpixie · 10/06/2021 09:59

I'd maybe get her to remeasure then as she's likely not 34 inches under her bust

Poshjock · 10/06/2021 10:10

I would recommend Bravissimo for a fitting then shop online once you’ve had your sizing.

Scotlass · 10/06/2021 10:12

DD who wears a 34DD really likes the bras from the Anne Summers range - they fit nicely round her bust without the need for wide straps. Online shop so you don't need to exposure your 15yr old to the rest of the offerings Smile

yoshiblue · 10/06/2021 10:24

I'm a recent convert to Bravissimo, and would highly recommend getting a fitting in there. They fit by sight and I came out with a smaller back and bigger cup size. Went in as a 32f and I should have been in a 30h!

I'm now much better fitted than previously measured in M&S. They are more expensive but their range is fantastic, there are lots of modern styles that I never thought would exist in my size.

I've been fitted in this bra, and it's so comfortable with thin straps.

Branleuse · 10/06/2021 10:54

as a size 12 id say she was more likely a 30 or 32 round the band, and a bigger cup size. Worth getting her properly fitted at a bravissimo or using the boob or bust method.
As for teen bras, she can just wear normal bras no?

Titsywoo · 10/06/2021 10:57

DD is 30DD and wears Victoria Secret Pink wireless ones which are very comfy and supportive www.victoriassecret.co.uk/style/ls206204/P34270#P34270

Excilente · 10/06/2021 10:59

m&S actually have some quite nice ones in at the moment!
