Is it just me or do jo malone perfumes fade quickly . Don't get me wrong I don't want to go round knocking everyone out with my scent but I just can't smell it on myself after half an hour no matter how much I spray ! . I thought it may of just been the orange blossom but just bought the Elderflower and it's exactly the same . It's like wearing a cheap body spray .

They don't last long on me either. Apparently the oud ones or the intense ones last longer.

Yes, I find the same - all the sprays wear off very quickly. If you layer it with the body creme, that really works (or just wear the creme on its own!)

I've heard from several people that the quality has declined since Jo Malone herself sold the company and they no longer last nearly as long as they used to. I'm not sure what year she sold it though.

She has a new perfume brand called Jo Loves. Perhaps they are longer lasting like her original scents

The Zara one designed by Jo have fantastic lasting power - though I'm not sure if they are still available

In general I agree OP, though I find Pom Noir good for staying power.

Yep, they seem to slide off my skin instantly.

I love the fragrances I have a few of them, the nectarine and honey blossom is my favourite, but they don’t last on me either. Half an hour tops.

So bad compared to what they used to be. The candles are awful now. Pom noir lingers more.

Yes shocking how quick they fade. The oud ones too. Definitely changed since company sold. I feel robbed! People mentioned perfume parlour on here for good cheap alternatives.

I would second layering - the body lotions have good staying power.
I have Jo Loves and it’s brilliant!
Unfortunately I bought Jo Loves in UK and cannot buy in Southern Hemisphere and it will be a long long time before my 2nd bottle..

No, doesn’t last on me at all. I’m actually using the Aldi Lime and Basil dupe at the moment - doesn’t last too long either, but at £5.99 I don’t mind too much! 😉

They are colognes mainly, so not designed to be big scents. I think PN lasts ages, but I don't like it at all, and the others do really need to be layered with the body products to have any longevity.

Any suggestions for a committed blackberry and bay wearer? Anything in Jo Loves that would be similar?

Perfume Parlour do most of the JMs and they're way better than the real thing. The Woody Seasalt thingy is excellent. Everyone does a lime, basil and mandarin these days and all of them cost about a fiver. Which is all the No Malones (pun intended) should cost.

Yep, Nectarine and Honey Blossom is a lovely scent but on me it disappears almost immediately, despite layering it with other products of the same scent. At £100 that’s not good. I find the older scents are better; LBM, Pomegranate Noir, Grapefruit but all the others are pretty hopeless. It’s no longer worth buying JM.

PN and Honeysuckle and Davana last. I still love them. Never tried the creams

The bath oil, even when used sparingly in the bath, leaves scent on your skin all day though

I love Blue Agave and Cacao but it does not last beyond an hour

I really love the scent of Pomegranate Noir, but I find the scent disappears quickly.

Thinking of buying a body cream or bath oil to layer up as I've got 2 bottles to use up and I'd rather try and get the best from it . Any ideas what would go with the elderflower as they only made a perfume . Thanks
