Where can I find decent t shirts?

I used to buy them from M&S, but I am finding the quality dreadful now. I’m in my 50’s so am unfortunately a bit lumper than I used to be so I don’t want anything too stretchy. I’d prefer a decent thick fabric. I’m also quite shot (5ft 2) so nothing too long either. Basic colours, black, white etc. I’d also prefer v necked. Can anyone help?

Cos are meant to do good quality t shirts. I've just ordered two cotton ones in the v neck style. Earlier on I bought a couple of the v neck lyocell ones and they're great, but I think they may have sold out.

I keep recommending fruit of the loom, I've several which are the base t shirts for other companies and they're better quality than any "fashion" t shirt.

Thank you. I’ll have a look at cos and fruit of the loom online.

I find Uniqlo to be good for basic T-shirts. The fabric is good quality and they are long in the body so no gaps.

I like Landsend for thick smooth cotton that washes brilliantly and non clingy styles. No need to pay anything like full price as big sales and discounts come up regularly. These are my favourites but they have other styles too.

Second for Uniqlo. Their current range of T-shirt’s seems lighter-weight but that’s their summer range. I got some fantastic heavier cotton ones earlier this year. They are cut nicely as well - not figure hugging but also not just a loose bag. Good range of colours and really reasonably priced.

A 3rd recommendation for Uniqlo. I have some lovely thick good quality ones from there.

I recently bought three from rapanui. Great quality cotton and eco friendly.

Seasalt & Boden do good quality t-shirts. Also worth looking at somewhere like go outdoors as they stock a good range of t-shirts.

Well, I'm very disappointed in the Cos v neck t shirts. Tight & clingy and just not flattering at all. I bought several slouch t shirts from Vildnis last year in an airy linen & lyocell mix and they seem to be doing a similar style this year. So I will try there next.
