Need help with bridesmaid dress

dazzlerdo · 07/06/2021 13:42

My sister has asked me to be her bridesmaid. She's told me I can chose my own dress, well me and her best friend.

The wedding is in October so weather not going to be warm. She wants us to wear a silver dress.
I've looked everywhere and can't find anything.
I'm wanting something that covers the top of my arms and her BF doesn't want anything to tight around her stomach area.

Any ideas please

Have you had a look on asos they usually have lots of bridesmaid dresses

Tittyfilarious · 07/06/2021 13:47

I think coast also do nice bridesmaid dresses Smile

IggyAce · 07/06/2021 13:48

ASOS, Monsoon, M&S we’re doing bridesmaid dresses at one point online. Also try Debenhams, I’ve not looked at their range since they went online only.

John Lewis have some lovely silver dressed in.

I also think this is lovely:

It's not completely loose over the stomach, but I find this style with the tie at the front does wonders at hiding my mum-tum without making me look pregnant (which floaty dresses tend to do) .

Thanks I'll have a look through them all.

She's wanting long ones and now changed her mind, she wants olive colour not grey/silver. She quite like the boohoo style

Her budget. She doesn't really want to pay more than £100

@dazzlerdo they had a lovely olive one on Next I think. I’ll see if I can find it.

Try JJsHouse - all their dresses come in a range of sizes and you can order swatches.
This link is for silver but you get the idea, change to olive.

*I meant range of colours 🙄

Depending on the style you go with, a formal bolero type jacket or 3/4 sleeved lacy top could cover upper arms and provide a little extra warmth if its cold.

[quote IggyAce]Sorry it was ASOS
