Swimwear + cellulite

Have always had a lot of cellulite (it's genetic) and generally wear shorts for swimming but some nice longer line boy leg swimmers could be fun. All I find when searching are speedo suits or modesty pieces.
Any tips? I'm a flabby UK 12.

Boden do some swim shorts that can be mixed with tanking or bikini tops

Tankini not tanking!

Thanks, have ordered some but I expect they will be a bit short.

@GingerBeverage most women have cellulite. Enjoy yourself and wear whatever you want. Life is too short and you don’t owe anyone flawlessly airbrushed legs Flowers

Exactly this. I am a size 12 and about 5ft 7. I need to lose about a stone ideally but know that even if I do I will still have cellulite. One of my close friends is a size 6 and has as much cellulite as I do. We go abroad most years (well we used to) and I spend months leading it to up stressing about my fat bum and cellulite and then I get there and majority of women on the beach and around the pool have it too and I feel much better about it

YUP, with bells on!

I also think most women look a bit strange in those boy short swimsuits/dress swimsuits, and actually can end up drawing attention exactly to the areas you're trying to conceal. Love when going to Europe and you see French/Spanish/Italian etc women of all ages and sizes wearing bikinis whatever.

SansaClegane · 08/06/2021 17:10

I love that so many posters have already said this - just wear whatever! I'm a size 10-12 with a c-section "kangaroo pouch" and more cellulite and stretch marks than I can express; but I'm past giving a fuck now and honestly no one cares what you look like, other than yourself.

Thanks but if there was a cellulite scale I'd be an 11. Short of having hypnosis I will never be able to forget that the back of my thighs look like a cheese grater. I'm happy with everything else, but prefer not to highlight it. Then I can relax.
Body acceptance is great, but I'm after some nice boy leg styles Smile
Found some gorgeous Pearl Lowe ones but they're hideously expensive.

Just to add that I won't look like a French/Spanish woman no matter how much leg I bare, as I am extremely pale!
