Can anyone recommend a really good foundation that covers well including acne scars and general redness please? I have very light skin and the one i’m currently using makes me look quite orange so I’m not sure what shade I’d need to go for. I’m a bit apprehensive about forking out incase it isn’t any good. Thanks

IT cosmetics CC cream is good and you can buy it in small size to try it out. Wide range of colours too. Available at Boots.

Superdrug revolution

Try a green colour correcting cream to get rid of the redness first, dust with a little translucent setting powder, then apply your foundation on top of that! The ordinary foundations are surprisingly good, given their price! You should get full coverage with that routine! X

Revolution do some very light shades with a range of different undertones. I use the conceal and hydrate one which has good coverage, it isn't full coverage thought there is one called conceal and define which is.

I previously used Laura Mercier and Nars which are both great but currently using Boots no7 hydraluminous which is very good

Google it, there is tons of clips on YouTube on how you find your shade. Also if you have a socific brand, google - example - "revlon matte foundation f01 swatch" and you'll see it on someone's skin.

Genuinely can't recommend colour correcting first. You'll use less foundation and it will look less cakey. Illuminating foundation is good for reflecting light off the skin and shows less imperfections up.

YouTube is so good for make up help! X

Can't recommend enough*

The Conceal and Define one by Revolution is brilliant. There's a website called findation which will help you colour match if you know the shade you wear in any other brands. I've used it a few times and the matches have been pretty accurate.

This is a great budget foundation! It's so good. I've got a few and mix the colours up if I want it to be a bit lighter or darker depending on if I have tan on.

I like the ordinarys foundation, xx revolution which is £15, one of the nyx foundations £15 iirc and kiko milano have very good foundations at a variety of prices.
