Stylish, comfortable summer sandals

For years I have worn Birkenstock’s and last year I got a lovely pair of saltwater sandals.

I’ve tried wear nothing pairs recently and have ended up with blisters on the soles of my feet! I have no idea what the hell is going on, my feet haven’t changed and obviously the shoes haven’t either.

I need comfortable sandals that don’t look hideous, I walk everywhere so they need to be good quality too.

Any suggestions?

I'm on this mission too - looking at flatforms. Ones that aren't too bulky and are feminine.

I have just splashed out on a DMs pair and they are really comfortable. I'm on my feel most of the day as a teacher and they are amazing. I've been wearing DM boots most of the winter and couldn't face a summer of flat uncomfortable sandals.

Saltwater don't really give any support and I get sore feet if I wear Birkenstocks for a whole day, but these are great.

I can only really wear footbed type sandals with arch support. As to what looks good, i think depends on your style

I've always struggled with summer footwear but this year I discovered BioComfort sandals in TKMaxx (Birkenstock-like)
Yesterday I wore them all day in very warm weather and not a single mark on either foot. This has never, ever happened before and I'm now considering buying a lifetime's supply!

Look, this brand is not stylish, BUT, some of their flip flops actually are quite fashionable at the minute...whispers fitflops. Their plain black flip flops with a sleeker strap and toe post I think genuinely look good.

Or you could try the Birkenstocks with a soft footbed? Think they do Arizonas with a soft option.
