A women had it done and posted pictures right after a while ago. Now that it has been a few weeks I am hoping to see what they look like? She looked so good I booked myself an appointment, but am so nervous I am thinking of canceling. Does anyone else have any experience or insight? TIA

I've no experience but I really want this done. I read it's quite painless due to the lips absorbing the numbing cream so well, less painful than microblading. Please post pics if you do it!

I have had lip blush done & honestly love it. I had pretty good shaped lips anyway, but now I wear just a baby lips clear lip balm & they always look done.

Pic 1, is just after they were done, you can see how swollen they are but it is not painful & the swelling goes down in a couple of days.

Pic 2, is less swollen but the colour is still intense

Pic 3, is how they have settled down.

I chose a colour similar to my lip colour but at my top-up I will pick a slightly deeper colour.

I'm thinking about getting this done. What does it feel like when it's being done? Or can you not feel anything because of the numbing cream?

I had it done and it was brutal ( I’m no wimp had loads of things done) but the girl did go very hard on me and I still have the colour from that one session four years on which is unusual apparently. I also got a huge cold sore and an infection from it -my lips were like two inflatables. If you’re prone to cold sores there’s a good chance you’ll get one as the trauma to the skin brings them out

I am a permanent make up artist

(Albeit fairly newly qualified !) I think done right it can be absolutely beautiful, but I'm probably biased

You can ask me anything if you want X

@BlueEyes21 yours are stunning

@Gettingthereslowly2020 the numbing cream definitely helps. You can feel it but it's mostly like a stingy scratch but it was bearable for me. The Cupid's bow & middle of the bottom lip was the most stingy (almost like a burning feeling) but the rest of the lips I thought were ok.

The numbing cream is topped up throughout the session & I went back 2 weeks later to check for any bits that needed going over.

I love how they are now, they just look like nicely defined lips & I always get asked what lipliner I use Smile

Thanks @shetlandponies 🥰

Thank you. Your pictures look great and are encouraging me to take the plunge.

I have really pale lips and pale skin in general so I look awful without lipstick on. Unfortunately, I'm usually rushing about and don't have time to put it on or to keep reapplying it throughout the day. This would definitely solce my problem.

You look amazing blue eyes! Thank you for sharing. I am hoping for super natural as opposed to a lipstick look. Maybe like these? I don’t know. I am so nervous.

The salon I am booked at says to take vaulters ahead of time to prevent cold sores.

I had this done. I couldn't see the colour at all once my lips healed. Devastated
