Wonky eyebrows, what to do?

I have a wonky face, it's a thing. One eye higher up than the other, and so one eyebrow higher up than the other.. Got my eyebrows threaded today (had them done many times before), but a different person threaded them today and somehow what she has done seems to have highlighted the discrepancy even more. So much so that my husband, rather unkindly, commented that she had done them "wonky". Not his finest hour, and not mine either. I'm pretty upset, as you can imagine. Other than letting them grow out (I'm thinking them being bushier must camouflage it slightly because he has never commented before, lucky for him), what on earth can I do? Every time I look at them I could cry.

Bless you. Can you fill them in until they grow back?

Beachlovingirl · 05/06/2021 20:32

Op I have a wonky face too. I have tried doing the add more brow product to one side below the brow, and the other add more brow product above to the other side - to try and even them out but, once I take a photo and view it, I can see it’s just not done the trick as well as the mirror tells me! So it’s better but not there yet.
for photos etc I realise a full frontal face shot is not my friend, I look better from an angle.

I’ve also found that Botox levels my face out around the eyebrows and eyes but I realise that’s not a thing a lot of people want to do.

I don't want to post a pic because I wouldn't be able to edit it to make it less identifiable. I know it sounds ridiculous but I am genuinely wondering if one side of my face has dropped even more overnight it looks so much more noticeable.

No-ones face is symmetrical. We're all a little bit wonky.
I doubt anyone else would notice tbh.

Yellow85 · 05/06/2021 20:46

I have a massively noticeable difference in one side. It’s bothered me for ages, especially when I smile. I’ve taken to a small bit of Botox on that one side and had my brows tattood to balance them too!

OddsNSodsBitsNBobs · 05/06/2021 21:38

What's the saying? Brows aren't twins....

trilbydoll · 05/06/2021 21:41

'The man' once did my eyebrows and one of them ended up starting somewhere over my pupil Hmm I'm not sure realistically if you have any option other than growing them back out. How quick do they grow?

Butternutsqoosh · 05/06/2021 21:42

I have this, and I have recently had Botox for the first time, I mentioned it to the doctor and he injected and it's really evened up, it was my eyebrow that was particularly noticeable (to me!)

dancemusicsexromance · 05/06/2021 21:49

Mine are wonky and it upsets me. Botox helps. But I also draw a line or measure where my highest one is and sort of fill it in with eyebrow makeup. There are lots of videos on YouTube and tiktok showing you what to do. Mine had dropped more in the last couple of years. (I'm 48) it's not too noticeable with Botox and eyebrow pencils

Lavender201 · 05/06/2021 21:49

Bless you OP. Sounds really stressful.

One of my eyebrows is naturally perfectly arched, and the other eyebrow is a naughty one and much more flat/straight (the hairs don’t grow as far up). I find it can be evened out. You can apply small subtle amounts of eyebrow pencil along the top of the “lower” brow (benefit Precisely my brow is good), and also brush the “lower” brow upwards with a clear brow setting glue, or glossier boy brow. If the hairs are pointing upward more it’ll appear higher.

OddsNSodsBitsNBobs · 05/06/2021 22:00

Just remembered it:

Your eyebrows are sisters not twins....

Not sure if this helps though.

NotAnEagerBeaver · 05/06/2021 22:35

It's not about them not being identical. It's about one being physically lower than the other 😔

But unless you show us we can't say whether it can be corrected OP. We just need the forehead and eyes
