I have a skin tag on my eyelid

it's quite big (1.5 / 2mm at a guess)

Lower eyelid - can i tie it off myself? Will it hurt? If not who could do it. Gp?

Mine was removed at a private skin clinic. No fuss and easy. Gp wouldn’t do it here.

I went to the GP and was referred to the eye hospital because it was in such a sensitive area. The hospital sliced it off and cauterised it.

I tied one off on my eyelid, very fiddly and it took days to shrivel and die.

I kept squeezing one on my eye with tweezers. It shrivelled up and dropped off. No issues.

Oh I'm squirming a bit!

Did tying / nipping it hurt?

It didn't hurt. It dropped off in a few days. I was surprised how easy it was. I didn't pull it, just clamped it in my tweezers a few times
