I've tried almost everything and was advised by you lovely ladies on here to use tanning drops but even they have come out streaky :( I'm obviously not very good at applying. Any other tips before I give up completely. Thank you :) X

I've given up but use this stuff on my legs. It is quite orangey at first but if you rub for a few mins it looks natural and just a very slight colour. www.amazon.co.uk/Altruist-Anti-Redness-Pigmentation-50ml/dp/B07ZWCP1PL/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=sun+cream+altruist+tinted&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&qid=1622884541&sr=8-1

Have you tried using St Mortiz? Apply with a mitt in circular motions. Leave on over night.
Make sure you moisturiser your dryer parts (knees, feet, elbows etc) well before applying so that those places to go darker.
Shower off in the morning. You'll feel like a new woman 💁🏻‍♀️

Superdrug 10 minute tan and a fluffy mitt thing to polish it in with. You can see where it's going, and doesn't go patchy. Lasts days and is cheap.
Lilac coloured bottle.

I always exfoliate well all over before applying. If you don't regularly moisturise your body then make sure you are applying body lotion daily for a few days before - fake tan will cling to any dry patches.

I apply self tan fresh out of the shower. I think the other main tip would be not to apply too much at once, I always do a light application of a gradual tanner and then repeat the next day if needed. If you apply too much in one layer it's more likely to streak.

Bondi Sands foam fake tan. Apply with a mitt thing and you can see it, so you can even out any streaks. Leave on overnight, wash off excess in the morning.

You can buy it from Superdrug.

I have discovered Isle of Paradise tan and I am impressed, it goes on well and has a natural look to it...
