Dentist teeth whitening....

Disclaimer; I am a chicken when it comes to dental pain. Have done childbirth with no pain relief a few times. Cannot face dental pain-go figure. (Did have a dry socket experience in my twenties-maybe that's why!!). I paid for a dentist whitening system over a year ago & have not plucked up the courage to use it! Need to now; upcoming wedding plus the guilt at the wasted expense....any tips anyone

Get some sensitive toothpaste. You can use it as toothpaste but also put it in the trays and leave it on for an hour.
It did make my teeth very sensitive and I could only do a few days in a row - and I don’t have any sensitivity or dental problems usually.

Use a sensitive toothpaste for a week before and during. Also only use for the minimum amount of time and build it up slowly or just wear for shorter hours/more days. I've recently done it too and the sensitivity wasn't actually too bad.

Don't bleach three nights in a row because you're in a hurry to look like Tom Cruise, otherwise a mild breeze will have you in tears.

Will it still be in date OP? Make sure to check.

No advice as I'm also too chicken to do it or pay for it but the pearl drops purple toothpaste is pretty good for lifting staining (so the teeth look whiter but obviously won't be 'whitened')

So sorry to be slightly off topic but would anyone have any advice re tooth whitening for an age related enamel yellowing problem ? I'd love to do these treatments but I gather some just remove stains where as my problem is I'm 54 and losing enamel

I just did it.
Love the result but didn't finish the treatment because of sensitivity.
I was ment to do 14 days overnight treatment. But after 4 nights stopped because of sensitive teeth and discomfort. Agree with previous post...sensitive tooth paste and build it up. Dont have is on the whole night. The sensitivity went as soon as I stopped using it (less than 24 hours after stopping) but now I am in the same boat as u and scared to use it anymore. Might try a few hours here and there.

I'm currently 3 treatments into using crest strips and wow, my teeth have never looked better! I am using sensodyne pro namel alongside but haven't had one single ping of sensitivity or anything. So impressed

If anyone is looking for a simple whitening product that doesn’t use bleach and can be used daily. Feel free to ask for more details.

I keep hearing about the crest strips but when I look I can only find the toothpaste.

Where did you get them from showmethegin? I'd love to try them.
