Maternity clothes if you hate maternity clothes

Any advise?
Weirdly I work in fashion but when pregnant my brain just blows itself out and I really struggle with everything as all maternity just seems so boring or it’s got fucking Breton stripes.
I’m 15 weeks with no2 so starting to get into the fat stage. I’m small - 5’2 and usually about a size 10.

Last time I bought about 3 “maternity” items and wore loose dresses the rest of the time but can’t face the next 6 months wearing various tents.

So if anyone can recommend any styles or brands that are doing interesting things I’d really appreciate it

I am the same. Currently 30 weeks and in Zara floaty dresses mostly. I am sure they will see me through my pregnancy.

I did get some maternity shorts and t-shirts from H&M but I always favour the dresses.

I cannot stand the typical maternity fashion.. Why should pregnant women resign themselves to looking frumpy..? In my last pregnancy I lived in cool/stylish leggings rolled down under my bump and with long stretchy vests or t-shirts & cardigans over them. That was my go-to as I couldn't see anything interesting in shops. Stuff in New Looks, H&M or M&S looked depressing to me..

Looking online, Shein does some cool maternity clothes (though I never ordered from them so can't comment on quality). Also, a bit more pricey - Seraphine - seems to have more classy take on pregnancy fashion..

Hope that helps xx
