I'm totally stuck in a rut. Jeans every day. Jeans and t-shirt or jeans and a jumper. Oh if I'm really feeling low maintenance its lululemon leggings all day Shock.
I really want to improve my style and get some other options on rotation, rather than just denim.
Thoughts? Inspiration? Links to something would be great....
45, size 8, and 5ft 4"

@SoTiredNeedHoliday - anywhere. Gap usually do some good ones, Uniqlo, M&S sometimes, plenty in all the John Lewis concessions and the fitting rooms are open again. My favourites are actually from Peacocks a couple of years ago most perfect fit ever and in the sale but in white (bad colour for me, very clumsy) so I dyed them, came out perfect.

OP, l’m just very slightly younger than you. I wear dresses most days, l love the versatile and humble dress. You don’t have to worry about choosing a separate top either. Plus they are so easy to dress up or down according to the occasion.

Without knowing more about your individual style, l’d hesitate to recommend individual items, but Joe Browns, Oliver Bonus, John Lewis and White Stuff are my go to places, together with the odd budget item from New Look.

Although I’ll probably get a visit from the MN Fashion Police for going to White Stuff. I don’t think it’s allowed.

thanks all.
I usually wear skinny jeans and a t-shirt (not boxy ). I've dared today to try a pair of lululemon chinos, they are so comfortable but I feel I look a bit odd, self-conscious I guess. Plus DD said they look bad....... but I think its that she and I are only used to me in jeans.

The M&S ones look good and I saw some stuff on hush that looked nice.

This is such a broad question it would be really helpful if you said the kinds of shops you like or named a celebrity whose style you admire.

I'm 48 and ditched jeans over a year ago.
My wardrobe is now dresses.
Live is so much easier not having to think about tops and bottoms ect .
