I don’t own a dress

I’ve got a couple of events coming up - not weddings or anything but I’d like to dress up a bit. I haven’t worn a dress for 20 years! I ordered these two today in the hope that one of them is ok. What shoes would you wear with them?

What sort of events?

First one is nice, second dreadful. Not being facetious are

First one’s ok. Second one is not my cup of tea at all.

The blue is nice. Are you quite tall? The brown is a bit sack of potatoes unless you’re 6 foot and willowy.

Dresses are great. I wear them a lot. Chuck it on and you’re good to go.

Menorcan sandals
Birkenstock’s
Block healed mules
Wedge espadrilles
Probably loads more but those would be on my list.
