What would you wear?

In case it's relevant:

  • I'm in the customer care area, not the building where all the creatives are
  • I'm a mid level manager
  • I'm 39
  • There is no dress code.

I'm pondering what to wear for my first day that I'm actually in the office (rather than WFH) so interested in what others would choose.

Whatever you like tbh. When I worked there it really was anything goes. One member of staff dressed like she was on a night out with quite a lot of side boob on display. I also saw people in their pyjamas.

Good luck.

I would probably play it relatively safe - a midi dress with trainers! Or a relatively casual jumpsuit with trainers.

I'd just go with trousers and a top and a pair of flats. Simple. Can flex then how you dress once you've got the lay of the land.

Thanks. I'd like to think I can find a middle way between side boob and PJs Grin

Either skinny jeans, t-shirt and a jersey blazer or an open shirt if it's really warm - or a fairly basic dress that can pass as smart or casual. Smile

My DS has a management role in the Creatives bit there, he wears an impressive array of outfits and I get the impression that his colleagues wear pretty much anything they feel like 😀

Midi or maxi dress with trainers/vans or a maxi skirt and a cute top.
