Anti-fungal shampoo for toddlers?

My DS has lost a patch of hair about the size of a pound coin - perhaps larger towards the top front half of her head. It's quite noticeable. After panicking that she was developing alopecia, the Dr has told me (diagnoses through a photo Hmm) that it's a fungal infection or ringworm. It was very hard to understand him and he was mentioning some kind of anti-fungal shampoo that I could use on her but then saying he can't prescribe one because it's not safe for toddlers. Can anyone recommend something to help clear this fungal infection up? I'm so worried she's going to lose more hair. He has given us a cream to use as well but I want to make sure it's gone everywhere, not just on the patch we're applying the cream to.

Fingers crossed it's not alopecia as well. I'm really panicking Confused

Bump.

I've added Nizerol to my tesco order. Will that be ok?

I've used Nizoral on my boys when they were younger
It's also suitable for the body. Cleared up their issue easily ( pityriasis rosea which is fungal)

What about Dentinox (cradle cap shampoo) - that stuff is pretty powerful and safe for little ones.
