Sick of seeing me frowning! Is Botox the only way or are there any devices that have made a real difference- not just subtle? Tia

Botox is brilliant for 11s and yes, the only thing that works if the lines are quite deep. I waved goodbye to mine years ago Smile
If the lines aren't that deep you could try retinol or frownies (if you don't mind looking deeply unsexy in bed with brown paper stuck to your face)

Honestly. Botox. I get it for the 11's. It's amazing.

DedalusBloom · 02/06/2021 15:58

Yeah Botox. It really is the only thing for 11s but I have found ( not with me yet but I'm on the alert) that the " bunny nose squint" effect is a very real side effect - in that when all the muscles in your forehead and side of face are paralysed your nose ends up doing a weird wrinkly rabbit twitch.

I’m too scared to have Botox so instead have just grown a longer, heavier fringe. Blush

Boood · 02/06/2021 18:21

I’ve got rid of one of mine with Nip + Fab extreme glycolic fix, and the other one is less pronounced.

Thank you so far Botox has the winning vote

I had Botox for mine last Thursday. It hasn't kicked in yet as far as I can see but I am very excited for when it does 😁 (She did go very light touch as I was so nervous about it being obvious!)

It was very easy, pain free and no sign on my face of it having been done after 30 mins.

I would definitely go down this route rather than spending a fortune on products that won't work.

Laburnam · 02/06/2021 19:39

I think that’s probably the way I’m heading as they’re quite deep imo. Glad it went and pain free too well let me know what it looks like . I like the idea of a light touch

Yes if your practitioner is any good they will go very lightly on the first visit, then you have an appointment 2 weeks later where they will top up if necessary. Some people only need tiny amounts to get a good result and others need large doses, for some people it doesn't work at all.

nzeire · 02/06/2021 20:25

Botox every three months. Mine were horrible and have softened after years of Botox. Nowhere else on face, just the mean old bag lubes. Made me look like a witch

Laburnam · 03/06/2021 12:00

Thank you for all the feedback 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Definitely BOTOX. Works brilliantly. Nothing else works.
