Hair straighteners

Morning, I'm after recommendations please. My ghds which I've had for nearly 10 years are on the way out. Looking at what around, reviews for cloud 9 seem good. I have short hair (just above shoulders ) but very thick, curly/frizzy hair. Looking at the wide iorn, would this be suitable? Or any other recommendations, please throw them my way. Thank you

I use kipozi wide plates. They are adjustable heat and get hotter than ghd.

I also use kipozi and didn't bother buying GHDs. Saw the recommendation on a thread here but I have the not wide ones- regular size plates but coated in titanium which makes them a bit smoother imo. Also good for curling with- I wrap the hair around both plates by taking a strand of hair and putting the straighteners above or below the strand depending on how I want the curl to face and then wrap the strand through! There are lots of Instagram short videos on how to curl with straighteners without twisting them if that's something you want to do :)
