I need new summer clothes. Help!

I’ve lost a stone in weight since last summer and now loads of my clothes don’t fit. It’s not much weight but enough to make it an issue as I’ve mostly lost from bust and hips. So dresses are baggy on the bust and trousers are falling down. I’m still quite busty (32F) and an hour glass shape. Now size 10/12.

I’m 37 and a very tired mum of two young kids and a puppy. I really need help with what I should be buying

I’ve no time for going to the shops and anyway, I’m clueless as to what’s in that won’t make me look old/frumpy but also won’t make me look like I’m trying to dress like a teenager! I want to start making more of an effort and this seems like a good opportunity as I can actually justify buying new clothes. I like to charity shop the odd occasion I do get to the shops, so any styles or looks I could hunt out are welcome, as well as actual outfits.

I’m clueless and tired and fed up of looking like a sack of shite that keeps pulling my trousers/shorts up. Please help!

Giving this a hopeful bump as I posted late last night. Would be so grateful for suggestions.

I would start by making a style board for inspiration - perhaps on Pinterest. Look at lots of images and determine what outfits you like and what you’d like to wear. Then identify the key basic pieces you need. Without that understanding it’s quite hard to give you suggestions of what you should buy.

Also think about lifestyle and what would actually be functional for you.

Start with a couple of good pairs of shoes and a nice bag (unless you have those already).

Or if you have dresses/ that you love(d) that no longer fit you, look on eBay for similar things in the next size down.
