Teeth whitening strips- do they really work?

I've seen these in Boots etc but was wondering if they were the same as the Crest ones from the US which used to get rave reviews. I know those couldn't be sold in the U.K. for some reason so wasn't sure if the rules have changed or if the ones you now can get are less potent/effective. Anyone used them?

No, I'm afraid I've only used the Crest ones, which are good.

I get them on ebay.

I used the Crest ones from a UK Crest website. They didn't seem to make much difference to my teeth at all - in fact I didn't notice any difference.

I get Crest strips from the USA. Nothing else works for me

QueenOfPain · 01/06/2021 17:42

No idea about the UK versions, but the crest ones from the USA definitely do work but they also make your teeth super sensitive!

Skyla2005 · 01/06/2021 17:50

You can get the crest ones in the uk

KillingMeDeftly · 01/06/2021 17:51

Ouch @QueenOfPain maybe they're not for me then. My teeth are sensitive at the best of times!

Where's the best place to buy in the uk? I know there's loads of fakes

DarlingWithoutYou · 01/06/2021 19:52

where can I get the US ones please?

Teessider · 01/06/2021 20:38

Give them a swerve. Teeth whitening should only really be done by a dentist, either in chair or with products supplied.

The strips can massively increase sensitivity and cause shooting pains which is unpleasant

BlueButtercups · 01/06/2021 20:45

Yes .. my sensitivity increased to a painful level too OP.

So not worth it 🌺
