My skin stuff is all about to run out. I'm mid 30s (fuck that's a realisation for me) I have uneven skin due to not looking after it. I'm wearing sun cream daily - I have used a variety of serums etc. I've been recommended the ordinary. What should I order?

I cleanse and tone daily.

Something more medical like Dermatica or Skin + Me. You already have a good cleansing routine and SPF so may as well add in the thing that will make the most difference long term. I wish I'd started mid 30's my skin is better now (at 42) than it was then. Tretinoin over time will even out all of the things you want to fix.

Send your pics to facetheory and they will suggest products for you ...they also have 365 days return policy.

The ordinary glycolic acid and niacinimide made a huge difference to my skin. I like other stuff in their range too, but those are the two essentials for me

The inky list is priced similarly to the ordinary and you can do a questionnaire on their website to help find products that will work for you

Boots have a new range similar to Ordinary called Boots Ingredients. Am impressed so far with what they have.

I've ordered samples from skin+me but I need a daily moisturiser. Currently using aldi face stuff - want some thing nicer. Can any one recommend?

Face cream you just need something simple that does the job without clogging pores or irritating. I like Niveas essentials day cream use both the day and night ones

If you want to try the ordinary there is lots of info on their site but I use

HA factors - AM & PM put on damp skin to draw water in, has nice plumping effect and very hydrating

Plant based squalene - AM & PM after HA factors is very moisturising, like a very thin face oil

Glycolic Acid - PM only is a toner that is a chemical exfoliant, removes dead skin cells to prevent break outs and have more glowy skin

You say you have uneven skin tone for this a vitamin C product and Nimacide is recommended

I would try Skin+Me or Dermatica. My skin drastically improved after switching to on of these. I know Skin+Me gives recommendations for cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen.
