Sandals with cushioning

Since September, I've worn my New Balance trainers almost every day. They provide great cushioning to the soles of my feet and I'm able to walk miles and miles.

Now that summer is finally here, I'd like to find a pair of sandals that are nice to look at (I don't want them to look like orthopaedic shoes...) and also cushioned like trainers. Is that possible? Style-wise, I like Russell and Bromley leather sandals, Saltwater, etc.

Thank you!

I have these and think they look good, they go with my wardrobe but may be too utilitarian for some. They are the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn, can walk miles in them in comfort without blisters :)

Thank you, but I think they might be too far from my usual style Sad

The Fitflop Gracie in tan? I've just been ogling them myself. I can definitely walk all day in my Fitflops, as well, if not better, than in my trainers.

Just realised there's a few versions of the Gracie. I meant these ones:

Have a look at some of the sketchers sandals and see if any take your fancy. Warning: there is a massive variety on there. If the first few dont grab you, carry on scrolling down.

I have the same issue and love of new balance... Teva are genuinely the most comfortable ones I’ve found. They look a lot better on than they do in the photos and are very in fashion right now - Asos and schuh are full of similar styles and the original brand.

Failing that - try Pavers and Clarks. Most of the prettier, high fashion styles don’t have the padding underfoot. I love the look of Saltwaters and have two pairs but they’re so flat it’s super painful for me to walk any distance in them.

I have fitflop Tia sandals and they look flimsy but are amazingly comfy and cushioned, I wear them all day long and I'm old (50)

Fit flop. They do lots of different styles. I find the newer, flatter footbeds more comfortable. I’ve got problem feet (suffer with plantar fasciitis) but my feet always feel good in those.

The most cushioned and comfortable I’ve found are from Moshulu. There, I said it. Okay, not exactly cutting edge style wise but my gosh those cushioned foot beds take some beating.
