Invisalign for overjet

Hello, I hope this is the right forum to post this in! I’m just wondering if anyone has ever had Invisalign to fix their overbite/overjet and if so whether it worked? The orthodontist said that my front teeth could be brought back a bit as space could be made but I’m not sure that I’ll be a noticeable difference, and given the cost I’d really like it to be. Not keen on the idea of metal braces but I’m more and more self conscious and really want to get this fixed so hoping for positive stories Glitterball

I did, my teeth are a million times better now and it's one of the best decisions j ever made!

OP is your dentist a specialist orthodontist? If your overjet is that big, tipping your teeth backwards isn't going to give you a stinking result. Most overjets are a result of a skeletal issue like a smaller lower jaw. You can move the teeth but it's a compromise for a number of reasons.

*stonking result ! I'm so sorry.

@APeakyBlinder oooh that’s amazing! Do you have any photos you could maybe message me privately if you didn’t mind? I think I’m going to get it but it’s £3.5k, I’d pay this gladly if I could just be confident it’d make a noticeable difference!

Hi OP - I've got Invisalign now correcting an overjet - not that big though. For Invisalign they take an impression of your teeth then computer generate the results - you will see exactly how your teeth should look from all angles and how the overjet will be corrected. It's called clincheck. They start the Invisalign process when you are happy with the clincheck result ie what the finished teeth will look like.
