Handbag lovers, indulge me!

Ok so I’ve a pretty big thing for handbags. I feel they really make an outfit, and it’s an added bonus that they always fit, even if I’ve gained weight! Anyway, I have quite an extensive collection already, ranging from Givenchy to Mulberry to LuLu Guinness, to Marc Jacob, to Coach, to Kate Spade, to Coccinelle to DKNY to various other designers to high street and to TK Maxx. I’ve coveted a Louis Vuitton neverfull for years but often felt I couldn’t justify the money (even though my Givenchy and some of my Mulberrys were dearer, but for some reason I always baulked at spending on a neverfull). Well. I baulk no more. I decided to get one recently after unexpectedly getting some money. So, off I went over the weekend, and ordered one. It wasn’t in stock in the department store so they have ordered it for me and I should have it Thursday. I was so giddy with excitement and I just couldn’t stop thinking about it. However, once I got home I was browsing the LV website, purely to get a link to the bag to send my friend, and I saw another one which I loved. The Lymington. Impulsively I ordered that online. So I’m the space of two hours i’ve gone from owning no LV bag to owning two!

Both should be here on Thursday or Friday at the latest.

I bought two Aspinal bags in the last month. British brand. Even my dentist today said 'oh don't put that on the floor'.
Both black, red silk lining.

I've just discovered Aspinal - bought a Micro Lottie a few weeks ago. Love it. The quality is better than Mulberry in my opinion.

Oh how I love a good bag thread. I've just "wasted" my bag fund taking dh and the dcs away for a couple of days foe overpriced UK trip. (It was fun though!). Need to rebuild and look for a summer to autumn bag. Im increasingly drawn to the neverful, after another tote.

Aspinal have a sale on though and their 'A' tote looks tempting.

I recently bought my first Chanel and I’m addicted. I think l have to get rid of some other bags to make room for new ones

Margos Kaftan. I have the A London tote in black. Really good.Not too heavy. I noted the mink sister is available in the sale. Might have it with initials just to be knobby. I did ask where their bags were made, mostly Europe. Not China as far I am aware.

Anyone else noted the belted Mulberry Bayswater doesn't have feet? Put me off but the heritage flap gets on my wick and is fiddly when searching for your phone.

If you’re anywhere near London, the Victoria & Albert Museum are holding an exhibition called “Inside Out” and it’s all about bags, bags and bags.....

The tracking on one of them now says it’s not expected til the 9th of June! And I can see the other has arrived into the country but is still saying it will be delivered on Friday, not tomorrow.

Delayed gratification and I are not good bedfellows!

Beautiful!!!! I will be getting one when we go to London at the end of the month I hope! Did you look at both types of leather? How did you decide which one to get?

@FourteenthDoctor I did look at both leathers and the medium and jumbo. I decided to get the jumbo in caviar as I’m planning to use it as an everyday bag and the SA said they have a medium in lambskin but have only used it on special occasions. I will probably by a lambskin as my second bag

It will be worth the wait! I was just saying yesterday how I’m not one for a fancy house, flashy car, or even expensive clothes (looking at my primarni wardrobe in the corner) but I do love a good bag. When I was 17 I saved up my pay from my weekend job and took the train to London on my own, and went to Harvey Nichols and purchased a Burberry handbag. Oh my days I felt amazing and I still have that bag and honestly the quality of it is amazing. You wouldn’t look at it and think it’s almost 20years old at all. Whereas primark bags I’ve purchased last a few months. Unfortunately adulthood came along with responsibilities and children so I’m now living on a coach/Michael kors budget (I mean my current handbag still cost in the region of £300 but not quite designer price).
However, as you can tell by my username, I did fall head over heals in love with the Louis Vuitton by the pool collection and couldn’t resist a purchase so ordered the kirigami set which arrived yesterday. They are stunning.

Also converting a Gucci marmont camera bag and I’ve just received a mini windfall that will happily cover the cost. Still - adulthood says I should resist

You only live once! Which is what I say too much and will then regret it when I'm old and have no food and have to eat baked beans every day but am happy because my carrier bags are Louis Vuitton

I’m very grumpy just now because I have no handbag budget this year. And selling my Mitzy made me a lot more sad than I had thought it would!

😡😡😡 I have literally just TODAY sat and looked at a micro Lottie, huge lust. Everyone else is getting all the bags that I want! First the Mayfair in green, now this. 😭😭😭

Sorry @Ninkanink!! We clearly have the same taste. Here she is (I did sell a Bayswater clutch to fund... have fallen out of love with Mulberry).

OP your LV is gorgeous and your have a built in evening clutch!
