Best smelling Bath product recommendations

Hello,

Can you lovely people recommend some amazing smelling Bath products? I like salts and bubble Bath mainly. Money no object, I feel like I need to treat myself. I have already tried Lush ( lovely, but I feel that I would like something a bit more sophisticated/glamorous). I’m not a big fan of jo malone and I find some of the Molton brown products a bit insipid. Although I did used to love their blissful templetree and Marine Kelp bath salts.

I really love these products but I’m wary of import taxes since Brexit and I’m not sure if the essential oils are safe for me as I’m pregnant.

Thank you for any recommendations!

Aromatherapy associates are good but they are oils so not sure if they are ok for you when pregnant

Can you have scented candels with some high end high street brands?

I agree about MB not being worth the money

Whenwillitmakesense · 31/05/2021 18:58

Candles.... sorry spelt wrong above

GlubGlubGlub · 31/05/2021 19:02

Thank you! I’m not after scented candles, as I’m asthmatic.

M&S have the summer beauty bag available at the moment - you could order some bubble bath from there and get that as well

I was going to say Aromatherapy Associates too. I love their deep stress bath oil. Whole house smells amazing.

elemis is lovely and soothing to the skin.

Marking my place.

I want massive bubbles and a grown up scent. Not something that's available in Boots or Superdrug. I'm prepared to travel to find the holy grail in decent bath products.

Olverum is the best bath oil ever.
Soapsmith soaks are also excellent, really strongly scented.
Neal's Yard also worth a sniff.

I bought some jeans from m snd s snd ended up getting the Beauty pack for twenty quid.

The small bath oil/shower oil is lovely. It smells of almonds.

ilapothecary

Whenwillitmakesense · 31/05/2021 19:28

Arran are good as well

WeAreTheHeroes · 31/05/2021 19:29

I like Badedas - smells lovely and a bottle lasts ages.

LunaNorth · 31/05/2021 19:30

I really like Sanctuary Spa bubble bath. It’s not expensive, but you get lots of bubbles and it smells lovely. They do a big jar of salts too.

Bananaman123 · 31/05/2021 19:34

I use a little noble Isle willow song as bubble bath and shower gel, such a lovely scent and lasts on the skin. The body scrub is also amazing.

Also love to use bath and body works shower gel as a bubble bath, buy from Facebook but if money no object you could have some shipped over fro USA

GlubGlubGlub · 31/05/2021 19:34

@WeAreTheHeroes I love Badedas! My grandma always used to buy it and I used it whenever I stayed with her.

Thanks for the recommendations everyone. I think my issue is that I’m trying to stay clear of Neals Yard/aromatherapy associates, as many aromatherapy oils are not recommended in pregnancy, but inevitably those are the kinds that I like best! Sigh. Might have to wait until the baby has been evicted!

Ah, sorry I didn't think of that.

I think this one is safe for pregnancy:

The Bath House, based in Sedburgh. Just gorgeous.

WellTidy · 31/05/2021 21:07

Occitane Shea bath soak here is £27 for 500ml but really lovely

Almost half that price, and possibly my first choice, is Rituals Sakura here - there are a few scents each at just under £14 for 500ml

funnyoldonion · 31/05/2021 22:26

Thanks @Whenwillitmakesense I just got my M&S beauty bag, it's got a lot of lovely stuff I'll definitely use! Grin

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 31/05/2021 23:47

I really like REN Rose Otto, and love AA, but my all-time favourite bath stuff is Imperial Leather Mallow-mazing, which costs precisely £1. It smells a bit like Byredo Bibliotheque and gives huge amounts of bubbles. You will get three or four baths for your £1, with a LOT of bubbles in each.

(I always get Badedas at Christmas, it just smells of Christmas to me, not sure why!)

chillibeansauce · 31/05/2021 23:50

Oliverum - it's a bath oil from my spacenk advents calendar and is extremely grown up and leaves skin smelling lush and very soft
