summer wardrobe when you have an inverted triangle body shape

Been clearing out my wardrobe and just got a bit fed up. Had a baby a couple of years ago and have basically not bought anything since. But now most of my clothes just look wrong or too young, out of fashion etc. So please hit me with your inspirations - if you have broad shoulders and a narrow waist/hips, what are you wearing in the summer?

Why boy add some volume below the waist with some longer length mom jean shorts? (And also mom means for colder weather)
They nip in at the waist which works well for you and gives a bit of looseness over the hips which will make you more of an hourglass shape. Top wise how about a a cami vest or a bodysuit? Or even strapless? All of those look great on wide shoulders and easily available for summer.

I’ve chopped some of my jeans into shorts for this summer and wear mine longer length - as seems to be the fashion this year - with high tops or sandals. Cheap update!

Why not I mean (thanks phone)

I have broad shoulders and I find wearing V neck tops more flattering. Tshirts with short sleeves and round necks make me look very broad. Anything that has a pattern that is round the shoulder or across my back between my shoulder blades is a no go. Horizontal striped tops are a definite no go.
Layers look nice. Vest top worn with an open shirt or jacket: denim, biker , blazer.
Sleevless tops, 3/4 or long sleeves.
The jacket or shirt etc balances out the slim hips.
3/4 loose trousers also look good.
For me it's getting the top half right is most important for my shape.

Yes, thank you both. I just feel a bit lost. The fashion at the moment seems to be very roomy round collared t-shirts and everything loose. Am only 5.3 and it al seems very big and boxy on me. Plus am 37 and dont want to look too young or too old

I think the look that's in at the moment suits very few people.
I think it's about finding your style and adding bits to it that are in and suit you.
If you wear a round neck tshirt wear it under a layer to break the line.
A few years ago I went to a shop I liked and took my size off the sale rail whether I liked it or not and was surprised by what I thought I would like and what I did like.
