I have just had a promotion to a senior role, new company, old buildings that dont have aircon. I work with others who wear a uniform. Lots of walking about so I need comfy shoes too.

I have pencil trousers and that is about it. I normally wear shirts, jackets, skirts and tights in the winter with boots.

I need some new jacket/blazers and some tops, and if possible skirts that I can wear without tights, which would be acceptable when it is very hot.

Off to the shops tomorrow, to actually try stuff on...

How about shirt dresses or wrapover dresses in a plain colour op? There are lots about currently. Cooler than separates.

Presumably you have to wear closed toe shoes. Would some sort of wedge work?

Thanks
do these dresses work with a short sleeve?
I'd also like sleeveless to be an option for in my office when I dont have meetings - then jacket on for a meeting - or at least to arrive.

Hobbs have 20% off until tomorrow. Lots of jackets that would go with dresses.
