Even before the lockdowns I've mostly been at home looking after the kids. I've got into a rut of buying most of my clothes from Sainsbury's Tu, George at Asda, H&M etc as that's where I buy most of my kids' clothes and it's convenient. Plus, these shops are not too bad when it comes to casual T-shirts and jeans type outfits.
I want to get some more tops (more 'dressy' than T-shirts, but not over-the-top) to go with jeans for going to the pub, restaurants etc over the summer.
I've been through my usual retailers, but I'm lacking inspiration. It occurred to me that I've forgotten what shops are out there. And some might not be on my radar at all if they are online only.
I want natural materials (I've seen several tops I like the look of, only to find they are 100% polyester).
I need sleeves - short sleeved is fine, but not sleeveless.
I like blues and greens, but also looking at yellows. I had a thing for polka dot tops for a few years, and breton tops before that. Want to move away from spots and stripes!
Budget - up to about £25 per item. I want to buy several tops to update my summer wardrobe, so I can't afford much more than that.
I'm 5'9". Size 14. Age - mid 40s.
