Wedding guest dress help

Have a summer wedding to attend soon. It's in a small country house with the focus on the gardens.
Was planning on this blue dress in the attached photo ( it's longer on me than Holly)
Any suggestions please for shoes/ bag etc to accessorise it.
Worried it's too casual! Any other suggestions welcome.

How much longer is the dress on you to the image of HW? On her it's mid-thigh length.
The dress does look a little casual for a wedding but that might depend on what you plan to accessorise it with, shoes/jewellery etc.

I did worry it was too casual and wondered if I could accessorise it to make it work, it's to my knees as I'm only 5f 2
Love that dress but high necks like that don't work for me sadly

I think if it's knee-length on you it should be fine for a garden wedding.

It doesn't have much scope for jewellery, but that should be ok in the garden.

I would maybe see about getting some mid-pale blue leather shoes (boots? I'm not entirely on-trend and little boots might be wrong) and bag. Possibly with a wide-brimmed hat in the same colour for when you're outside.

Then get some short-drop flower earrings.

What about some gold or silver wedge shoes and handbag?

Just wear a smart jacket with it if you need to. People don't need to be super fancy to go to a wedding x

Can you do a fascinator? Blue fascinator would immediately say wedding outfit.
