Stylish flats - not sandals or trainers

What are you all wearing if you can't wear big heels everyday?

Looking for some flats or maybe low heels to wear day to day with jeans and dresses. I love sandals, but I have enough and I want something which covers my feet completely.

I quite like the look of the new ballet flats with square toes and ankle ties.

There is another thread on this today - I’m a big fan of pointed toe flats
I have about 30 pairs from high end such as manolo blahnik, Valentino and Jimmy choo to high st like Dune - also often get bargain ones in tkmaxx
These are just a few of my current footwear collection

If you are bothered about your feet, no ballet flats - they seriously stuff up your feet as well as producing that unattractive waddle. Low heels are like gold dust (women are supposed to put up with shit shoes) - if you find anything around 2cm please post, as what is now defined as low heel is a staggering spike in reality.

Wow, they’re very pretty but it’s an awful lot of the same style shoes!
It looks like a shoe shop display.
Do you wear any other styles?

Loafers here

MayorGundersonsDogRufus · 29/05/2021 19:04

I like Vivaia flats - they are smart, comfortable and made from recycled plastic bottles and completely machine washable. Their heels and boots are quite unattractive but the flats are really nice.

I just bought a pair of Vagabond Alex loafers and I love them. I also have a pair of patent lace up Dr Martens brogues. Love them too. Depends what you're into - I really don't like stereotypically feminine shoes. And I want to be comfortable!

Jacelance love the shoe rack can you link the one you got.

SurreyArmyWife · 29/05/2021 19:19

I have a couple of pairs of driving loafers by Hugs and co. They are so comfy once you’ve worn them in, and they come in a wide range of colours. Personally I only wear them with jeans. I like that they keep my feet relatively cool, even though the whole foot it covered.

Low wedge brother may be suitable, I wasn't a fan until I was someone wearing a pair.

It’s this one - but I paid slightly less from a different seller
I always wear pointed shoes or boots - in varying heel heights including flats - plus trainers - toms - sandals etc
I just love shoes!

OublietteBravo · 29/05/2021 21:15

I have some brogues that I really like. I got them from Clark’s last summer.

I came on to say clarks brogues but see @OublietteBravo has beaten me to it!

gagrag · 29/05/2021 21:49

Personally I live in that sandals as plenty arent beachy. If I want a full shoe though brogues, loafers, ballets with slight heel or a caged sandal.

ZenNudist · 29/05/2021 22:22

I like those vivaia flats. Expensive for plastic shoes. I wonder if they let water in.

MaryTheMiddle · 29/05/2021 22:53

Thanks for these Flowers

Love your shoe collection @JaceLancs!

Also love the idea of a caged sandal. Some days, I just don't feel like showing my foot!
