Is that asking too much?

The current trend for baggy oversized frocks seems to be last forever. I don't like this style, it just doesn't suit me - it makes me look fatter or even worse, pregnant (as it does for most people I think). I don't want to have to wear a belt with everything to pull in the dress, I just want more flattering dresses with nice nipped-in waistlines.

Does such a thing exist now?

I know what you mean, OP. Lord knows I am not blessed with a small waist, but it's a damn sight smaller than my chest. Baggy dresses make me look like a pavilion.

I normally spend quite a bit on clothes, but I have bought 2 really nice dresses from New Look. One I bought last year and it is a fitted animal print dress, like a shirt dress and the other I bought last week. It is long and red with small flowers on it. I got loads of compliments on it. My DH, who has rarely commented on anything I wear, said it was fabulous.

Got some really nice stuff including beautifully shaped, flattering dresses via Stitch Fix

New Look thirded, I've bought a couple of non shapeless dresses online which are really flattering on my diastasis stomach. I've either been pregnant or locked in the house for 3 years, I'm not spending this summer looking like an LDS revival marquee.
