Best colour enhancing shampoo for bright red hair

I was recommended the John Frieda Red Boosting one but found it very drying and I don't think it actually did anything to preserve or enhance the colour.

Has anyone found a really good colour enhancing shampoo that keeps their bright red hair colour looking vibrant for longer? My hairdresser recommended Bleach of London but from looking at their website they don't seem to do a red shampoo, almost every other colour under the sun though!

You can get a red semi permanent colour like bleach or directions and mix it with your conditioner, once you figure out a ratio and amount of time that works for you it should do what you want

Is your hair dyed? My hairdresser has recommended revlon colour ball in copper but i haven't tried it yet. Reviews are excellent though.

I used pillar box red Directions as a once a fortnight alternative to conditioner. That worked well for me!

Not a shampoo but Osmo Color Revive. It's a semi permanent conditioner that you leave on for 3-10 minutes.

Yes, it's dyed a really bright red and I love it but want to stop it fading. I had heard people mix semi permanent red dye in with their shampoo/conditioner but I was a bit scared to do that in case it went wrong!

Not a shampoo, but Evo Fabuloso is amazing. Its more of a conditioning treatment with really vibrant colour that lasts quite a few washes. I’m usually wary to put conditioner on my roots it this is fine. Smells lovely too.
